More than 116,000 Boon toddler kitchen step stools have been recalled after reports that the products can become unstable and tip over while in use, posing a risk of serious injury or death.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the recall affects about 116,908 Boon PIVOT Collapsible Toddler Tower Kitchen Step Stools sold in the United States, as well as approximately 2,033 units in Canada.
The recall involves gray and white metal-and-plastic toddler towers measuring about 22 inches wide, 23 inches deep and 35 inches tall. The word “boon” appears on the top rail, and a warning label is affixed to the side of the standing platform.

The CPSC said the recalled toddler towers can tip over while in use, creating serious tip-over and fall hazards for children.
The recalled toddler towers were sold online at Target.com, Amazon.com and Babylist.com from January 2023 through June 2026 for about $150.

TOMY, the importer of the products, has received 11 reports of the towers becoming unstable, shifting or leaning. No injuries have been reported.
