Consumers are being urged to stop using the copper drinking cup included in Flashgitz-branded “Space King” No Girls Allowed Relic Lunch Boxes after federal safety officials announced a recall due to dangerously high levels of lead.

The recall was issued Thursday by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The recall affects about 7,000 copper cups distributed by Warren James Inc. of Santa Monica, California. 

According to the recall notice, testing found the cups contain lead concentrations that exceed allowable limits for drinking vessels, posing a lead poisoning hazard. Lead is toxic if ingested by both adults and children and can cause serious adverse health effects.

Only the copper drinking cup is covered by the recall. No injuries or incidents related to the recalled cups have been reported.

The recalled product is the copper cup included in the “Space King” lunch box, a retro-style collector’s set inspired by the web cartoon. 

The red lunch box features the “Space King” logo in red and orange lettering along with artwork of the series’ characters.

The limited-edition bundle also includes a metal figurine, a Zippo lighter case, a pack of condoms, and a novelty paper strip labeled “Chastity Seals,” which is accompanied by a warning stating the item is not intended for use. 

The recalled products were sold through the Flashgitz online shop from September 2025 through October 2025 for about $25.

Consumers are advised to stop using the recalled cups immediately and contact Warren James for instructions on obtaining a replacement.

Customers who purchased the lunch boxes directly from the company will automatically receive a free replacement cup shipped to the address used for their original order. 

The notice also recommends disposing the recalled cups in accordance with local waste disposal requirements. The lunch box and all other items included in the collector’s set may continue to be used.
