HOUSTON – Crews have shut off the power for the majority of a Cy-Fair neighborhood as they battle two house fires near one another.

Officials say the fires are happening at two neighboring homes on Walnut Cove Drive, near Highway 6 and Keith Harrow Boulevard.
Due to the fires, the Cy-Fair Fire Department says power has been shut off for “a large part” of the Deerfield Subdivision. Residents are asked not to call their power provider.
