Amy’s Kitchen is recalling over 184,000 cans of Amy’s Organic Lentil Soup – Light in Sodium due to a manufacturer’s defect with the pull tab that could cause spoilage of the soup.

What we know:
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says the recall is for the 14.5 oz (411 g) cans with lot number: 60D0924 with a best by date of April 2027.

The FDA has categorized the recall as a Class II, which they define as “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”
