WESTLAKE, Ohio – Police responded to a wedding venue in Westlake, Ohio, on Friday, Aug. 21, after a fight broke out among guests.

Videos and 911 calls released by the Westlake Police Department captured parts of the confrontation. Local reports said the dispute involved two families with “bad blood.”
Police told Storyful the fight began inside the ballroom before it “spilled out into the parking lot.” At least two people were injured.

“Officers from Westlake arrived to find numerous persons outside the facility, some still in physical and verbal confrontations,” police said. Three men in their 40s were charged, including a 46-year-old Dearborn Heights, Michigan, man accused of assault and “inducing panic for brandishing a butter knife during the altercation.”

Two people were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Released 911 calls described one man as bleeding from the head.
