Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina will be re-named in honor of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, the White House said Tuesday.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt made the announcement in a social media post.
The base is a major U.S. military installation covering nearly 24,000 acres and was formed on October 10, 2010, by the merging of Charleston Air Force Base and Naval Weapons Station Charleston.
