HOUSTON<\/strong> – <\/span>An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in Houston’s Brays Bayou on Wednesday.<\/p>

Body found in Brays Bayou<\/h2>

What we know:<\/p>

<\/div>

Crews were called at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday to Brays Bayou near Calhoun Road and MLK Boulevard.<\/p>

Police tell FOX 26 that an officer was flagged down and told that a body was on the bank of the bayou.<\/p>

What we don’t know:<\/p>

The woman’s identity and her cause of death are under investigation. Officials only described her as a Black woman between 20\u201330 years old.<\/p>
