Conair is recalling\u00a012,660 Cuisinart gas grills<\/u> because of a shattering glass hazard that may result in a severe injury from a laceration risk.\u00a0<\/p>

In a recall notice, the\u00a0Consumer Product Safety Commission\u00a0<\/u>said that Cuisinart has received 37 reports of shattered glass during use of the grill. One fire occurred, but there have been no injuries reported.<\/p>

The recall involves\u00a0the stainless-steel Cuisinart Propel+ Four Burner 3-in-1 Gas Grill, which has a griddle, a stove top burner and a pizza oven with tempered glass located on top of the lid of the grill.\u00a0<\/p>

Consumer Product Safety Commission officials said the grills were sold at Lowes, Walmart and at cuisinart.com between December 2024 and May 2026 in the price range of $500 and $750.<\/p>

Can I get a refund for the gas grills?<\/h2>

What you can do:<\/p>

Owners with these\u00a0gas grills are urged to stop using them\u00a0<\/u>immediately and visit Conair\u2019s website to check if their grill is included in the recall.\u00a0<\/p>

There are instructions\u00a0consumers should follow to safely remove<\/u> the tempered glass window on the pizza oven and upload two pictures to Conair\u2019s website; one of the removed glass, and one of the grill\u2019s serial number.\u00a0<\/p>

Once the company verifies the photos of the recalled gas grill, consumers will receive a $500 refund by check or be reimbursed for the original purchase amount with proof of receipt.\u00a0<\/p>

The Consumer Product Safety Commission noted that once consumers receive their refund, they should write the word “Recall” with a black sharpie marker on the tempered glass and throw it away.<\/p>
