FOLSOM, Calif.<\/strong> – <\/span>A spectator at the Folsom Pro Rodeo recorded a dramatic moment when a skydiver crashed while making his descent into the packed event in Folsom, California, last week.<\/p>

Krista Nicole Hefner, who filmed the incident on July 2, said that she was sitting in the stands with friends as the skydiver entered the arena carrying a large American flag.<\/p>

“As he came down, I felt an incredible sense of pride for my nation. But when he crashed, I felt frightened and sad,” Hefner told video licensing company Storyful. “I was concerned for him because he had landed just a few feet away from me,”\u00a0<\/p>

The video captures the flag appearing to catch on a nearby tree during the descent, sending the skydiver into a tent situated close to spectators.<\/p>

According to media reports, a spokesperson for the rodeo said the skydiver suffered only a minor cut to his lip, was otherwise in good condition, and was expected to skydive again.<\/p>
