LANCASTER, Ohio<\/strong> – <\/span>Fry Pie Factory has issued a voluntary recall of its five-ounce Pepperoni Rolls due to misbranding and improper storage conditions that could pose health risks to consumers.<\/p>

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration posted the company’s announcement on Thursday.<\/p>

According to the recall notice, the product contains undeclared milk, a known allergen, which was not listed on the label.\u00a0<\/p>

The company also identified a process deviation involving refrigeration, stating that the pepperoni rolls were not stored, distributed or sold at appropriate temperatures. As a result, the products may be susceptible to pathogenic growth, increasing the risk of food-borne illness.<\/p>

No illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled products.\u00a0<\/p>

Consumers should not consume recalled product<\/h2>

What’s next:<\/p>

Consumers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk could face a serious or potentially life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.\u00a0<\/p>

The company advised anyone who is experiencing symptoms of a food-borne illness or allergic reaction to seek medical attention immediately.<\/p>
