Many questions remain unanswered about the peace agreement between the U.S. and Iran that is expected to be signed on Friday in Switzerland, and some disputes about what is in the pact have emerged.<\/p>

On Tuesday, the Senate voted again to pass a war powers resolution that would rein in the Trump administration\u2019s prosecution of the conflict despite the fact a peace deal is expected to be signed in just a few days. The measure narrowly failed, but senators from both sides of the aisle have expressed frustration over the White House not sharing details about the agreement.<\/p>

What the deal means for the conflict in Lebanon appears to be disputed. Iran\u2019s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said it would require Israel to end its occupation of Lebanon. A U.S. official told The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity that the agreement does not call for Israel to withdraw, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu previously said that the country\u2019s forces would remain “as long as necessary.”<\/p>

Senior U.S. officials said Iran\u2019s frozen funds could be released and discussed the possibility of a $300 billion fund to help rebuild Iran if Tehran meets certain benchmarks. President Donald Trump, however, said that the U.S. would not “invest” funds in Iran.<\/p>

Trump: Iran could face \u2018ultimate consequences\u2019 if they obtain a nuclear weapon<\/h2>

6:45 a.m. ET:<\/strong> Speaking at the G7 Summit, President Trump issued a bold warning if Iran were to acquire a nuclear weapon.\u00a0<\/p>

“And if they do, they suffer unbelievable consequences,” Trump said. “Not just a little bit \u2014 I won\u2019t even tell you the consequences, but the consequences are the ultimate consequences.”<\/p>

“They will not develop, purchase, buy or any other thing,” he went on to say. “They\u2019re not going to acquire a nuclear weapon. If they do, all hell will rain down on them.”<\/p>
