A Kansas Highway Patrol trooper had a close call after an impaired driver crashed into the back of his patrol car.\u00a0<\/p>

Video captured on dashcam showed the deputy performing a traffic stop when he looks up and hurriedly gets out of the way.<\/p>

The cruiser is seen jolting forward and then another vehicle slowly rolls into view.<\/p>

The driver of the vehicle that crashed into the back of the cruiser was later found to be in possession of drugs and under the influence.<\/p>
