Grammy-winning R&B singer Peabo Bryson, best known for recording the theme songs from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” and “Aladdin,” has died, according to a report. He was\u00a075 years old.<\/p>

His death was confirmed by\u00a0entertainment news outlet TMZ.<\/p>

Bryson’s family told TMZ,”With broken hearts and profound sadness, the family of two-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and balladeer, Peabo Bryson, announces his passing.”<\/p>

The entertainment news outlet was told that the singer died Tuesday “surrounded by the love of his family and those closest to him.”<\/p>

Peabo Bryson\u2019s legacy<\/h2>

The backstory:<\/p>

Bryson is a two-time Grammy-winning R&B singer known for his rich vocals and a career spanning more than four decades. With 20 albums and hits including “If Ever You\u2019re in My Arms Again,” “Can You Stop the Rain” and “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,” he became one of contemporary music\u2019s leading balladeers.\u00a0<\/p>

Peabo is survived his wife, Tanya Boniface Bryson, their son, Robert, his daughter, Linda Bryson, and his three grandkids.<\/p>
