Children\u2019s entertainment star Daniel Coleman, widely known to families as Danny Go, announced Friday that his 14-year-old son, Isaac, has died following a battle with stage 3 mouth cancer.<\/p>

\u2018Danny Go!\u2019 star\u2019s son dies of cancer<\/h2>

Coleman shared the news in an emotional Instagram post on May 22, revealing that Isaac passed away on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>

“Oh my sweet boy. There\u2019s so much I want to say, but I don\u2019t know how yet. I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process,” Coleman wrote, adding, “But looking through thousands of pictures and videos this past week, I\u2019m also filled with tremendous pride. Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit\u2026and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all.”\u00a0<\/p>

He added, “You truly had a spark like no other, Isaac! Remembering how loved you were and how full of life your time here was gives me great comfort. Being your dad was the honor of a lifetime. I\u2019m so proud of you and I love you forever. Rest peacefully, son.”<\/p>

Isaac diagnosed in 2025<\/h2>

The backstory:<\/p>

The family first revealed Isaac\u2019s diagnosis in December 2025, when Coleman explained that his son had developed stage 3 mouth cancer amid a long struggle with Fanconi anemia, a rare inherited disorder that increases the risk of bone marrow failure and cancer.\u00a0<\/p>

According to Cleveland Clinic, Fanconi anemia is an inherited condition that happens when certain genes mutate (change). It increases the risk of cancerous tumors, and people with this condition need long-term medical care to manage symptoms and watch for new ones.<\/p>

Children with Fanconi anemia are more vulnerable to developing certain cancers at an early age.\u00a0<\/p>

In April, Coleman shared that Isaac had entered hospice care as the family focused on keeping him comfortable and spending meaningful time together. Earlier this year, the entertainer canceled the remainder of the Danny Go! Tour after Isaac\u2019s condition worsened.<\/p>

The announcement prompted an outpouring of support from fellow creators and parents online, including children\u2019s educator Rachel Accurso, better known as Ms. Rachel. In a message to followers, Accurso urged fans to keep the Coleman family in their thoughts and prayers.<\/p>

“Hi wonderful parent and caregiver community \u2014 Please send so much love and so many thoughts and prayers to Danny Go and his beautiful family,” Accurso wrote. “Danny\u2019s precious son passed away. We are so sorry for their loss and are thinking about their son\u2019s amazing joy and their immense pride.”<\/p>

She also captioned the Instagram message by writing, “Let\u2019s all turn on Danny Go today and send them so much love and so many prayers and wrap them up in support.”<\/p>
