Iran has been reviewing the latest peace proposal from Trump as he warned that further military action remains on the table.<\/p>

Meanwhile, in DC, Republicans were met with growing opposition as they struggled to find votes to dismiss legislation that would force President Donald Trump to withdraw from the Iran war.\u00a0<\/p>

On Thursday, the House scheduled a vote on a war powers resolution, but when the GOP were not able to shore up numbers to reject the bill, Republicans declined to vote on it.\u00a0<\/p>

Nearly three months since the war began with U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Feb. 28, Iran maintains a chokehold on the strait, while the U.S. military has enforced its blockade on Iran\u2019s ports as well as Iranian-linked ships that are far away from the Middle East.<\/p>

Rubio: \u2018Slight progress\u2019 has been made toward Iran deal<\/h2>

9:29 a.m. ET: <\/strong>Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke Friday morning to reporters, saying “slight progress” has been made toward a deal with Iran.\u00a0<\/p>

Rubio again reiterated, Iran “can never have a nuclear weapon.”\u00a0<\/p>

“I know it’s early still in the United States, a little later in the region, in the Middle East, but we await word on those conversations that are ongoing,” Rubio said. “There’s been some slight progress, I don’t want to exaggerate it, but there’s been a little bit of movement, and that’s good,” Rubio said.\u00a0<\/p>

Nikki\u00a0Haley believes Iran is ‘stalling’\u00a0<\/h2>

6:30 a.m. ET: <\/strong>Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley posted on social media comments about Iran’s position in bargaining with the United States.<\/p>

“Iran is stalling because it doesn\u2019t want a deal,” Haley said in a post on X. “It wants a nuclear weapon to threaten Israel, America, and the world.”\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
