She did not survive her injuries.<\/p>\n<p> <!-- --><\/p>\n<p>Smith was detained at the scene, and she was ultimately charged with murder.<\/p>\n<p> <!-- --><\/p>\n<p>What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p> <!-- --><\/p>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s office says it\u2019s still unclear why Smith shot Murphy.<\/p>\n<p> <!-- --><\/p>\n<p>The backstory:<\/p>\n<p> <!-- --><\/p>\n<p>According to the sheriff\u2019s office, a married couple lives at the home and were allowing Murphy and Smith to stay with them.
