The National Football League could be bringing the 2030 Super Bowl to Nashville, Tennessee.\u00a0<\/p>

According to Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, NFL owners are expected to vote during Tuesday’s Spring League Meeting on a proposal to award Super Bowl LXIV, set for February 2030, to Nashville.\u00a0<\/p>

Home to the Tennessee Titans, Nashville is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States. The Tennessee capital has also emerged as a major sports hub, with professional franchises in both the NHL and MLS in addition to the NFL team.\u00a0<\/p>

New stadium set to be complete in 2027<\/h2>

The Titans’ new enclosed stadium is set to be completed in February 2027. The $2.1 billion project for the new Nissan Stadium broke ground in February 2024, targeting the team to begin hosting there by 2027.\u00a0<\/p>

Players will have underground parking, which will be a short distance from the locker room and then to the field.\u00a0<\/p>

What they’re saying:<\/p>

“We wanted it to look awesome,” said Burke Nihill, Titans president and CEO. “We wanted Nashville to be proud of it. But we really kind of (integrated) the fan experience and the player experience every step of the journey.”<\/p>

Once done, the stadium will also feature retracting roof panels, fixtures seen in other stadiums such as Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.\u00a0<\/p>

NFL host cities<\/h2>

A growing tourist destination, Nashville previously hosted the NFL draft in 2019. The event brought in an estimated 600,000 fans for the three-day event to generate an economic impact of $224 million, according to the Tennessee Titans. The event likely served as a proof of concept for the city’s ability to handle the influx of football fans.\u00a0<\/p>

Prior to 2030, the NFL’s next three locations for the Super Bowl will be SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles (2027), Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta (2028) and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (2029).<\/p>
