HOUSTON – An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead in Houston’s Brays Bayou on Wednesday.

Body found in Brays Bayou
What we know:
Crews were called at about 10:40 a.m. Wednesday to Brays Bayou near Calhoun Road and MLK Boulevard.
Police tell FOX 26 that an officer was flagged down and told that a body was on the bank of the bayou.

What we don’t know:
The woman’s identity and her cause of death are under investigation. Officials only described her as a Black woman between 20–30 years old.
