The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was fatally shot early Saturday morning.

What we know:
Deputies said they received calls of a reported shooting around 3 a.m. in the 11900 block of Duran Canyon Lane.
A crash on Veterans Memorial Drive is thought to be related to the shooting.
What they’re saying:
“Preliminary information indicates this is a complex incident that may involve a rolling disturbance and a related vehicle crash,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said on X.

What we don’t know:
The sheriff’s office said the man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
