Approximately 16,809 dressers were recalled because they are unstable and if the product isn’t anchored to the wall, raising the risk of a tip-over and entrapment danger, which may lead to serious injuries or death to children.

No injuries have been reported from use of the dressers, which violate mandatory safety standards set by the STURDY Act, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
