A Missouri-based fireworks company is recalling nearly 100,000 fireworks devices because they can tip over and cause serious injuries.

The recall involves the Unity 7 Shot 200 Gram Aerial Cake Firework Devices, model MEF6096, which were sold at fireworks stores nationwide from January 2026 through May 2026 for between $6 and $8.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the devices were sold in colors red, white and blue and weigh roughly a third of a pound. The size measures 2.9 inches by 2.9 inches by 3.9 inches. The product has a red, white and blue label that has the word “Unity” written on it. The label has images of American flags in the background. The date codes between 03.16.2026 and 05.18.2026 and model number MEF6096 are under the barcode on the back of the package.

The fireworks were manufactured by Winco Fireworks International, LLC, of Grandview, Missouri. No injuries have been reported.
What you can do:
Anyone who bought the fireworks should return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
