The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has issued a public health alert for raw honey Dijon boneless chicken breast products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

What we know:
FSIS says the chicken product contains eggs, a known allergen, and it is not listed on the product label. A recall was not issued due to the product being no longer available for purchase.
FW Farms LLC says 21-oz. vacuum-packed packages of “PRIVATE SELECTION Honey Dijon Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts with Rib Meat” with “BEST IF USED BY: JUN 28 2026” and lot code “15326A” printed on the packaging were produced on June 2, 2026, and were shipped to Kroger and Fred Meyer retail stores in Alabama, Alaska, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Oregon, and Washington.
The products bear establishment number “P-45288B” printed on the packaging.

FSIS says the problem was discovered by a retailer after a store employee identified that the correct label was applied to the front of the product but the incorrect label, which contained the ingredients statement, was applied to the back of the product.

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products and anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a health care provider.
What you can do:
FSIS issued the alert due to concerns that some products may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
