Alaska Airlines could face a fine of $165,000 for allegedly allowing intoxicated travelers aboard their flights.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing the financial penalty, telling Reuters that the alleged incidents happened on 11 flights between February 2024 and February 2025.

FAA rules prohibit airlines from letting any individuals who appear to be intoxicated aboard an aircraft.
The airliner told Reuters that it participated with an FAA audit regarding its procedures on intoxicated passengers aboard aircraft.
