President Donald Trump will be traveling to France to attend the G7 Summit despite growing friction with allies.
Trump hopes to speak about trade, promoting the adoption of U.S.-developed artificial intelligence tools and fighting crime, according to an Axios report.

What will be discussed?
Big picture view:
There is no doubt the Iran war will be one of the main topics of discussion, but Trump is also hoping to talk about many other subjects, including fighting drug smuggling and illegal immigration and promoting reducing regulatory barriers for trade and increasing energy production.
This will be the first face-to-face meeting between Trump and other world leaders since the war in Iran began.
Trump’s relationship with many of the G7 members has become strained amid the ongoing war, with the president loudly voicing his frustrations on social media, particularly with France and the United Kingdom.
