A voluntary recall was issued for a seasoning product because it could possibly be contaminated with salmonella.

Blackstone Products pulled after the affected milk powder ingredient was supplied to a third-party manufacturer and used in the seasoning product. 

Food and Drug Administration officials said in a recall letter that there are no reported illnesses because of using the seasoning.

Which seasoning product was recalled?

Why you should care:

The Food and Drug Administration said certain lots of Blackstone Parmesan Ranch seasoning productswere recalled and they were sold at retail nationwide exclusively through Walmart stores and through the Blackstone Products website

If I have the seasoning, what should I do with it? 

What you can do:

Consumers who have the recalled seasoning should not eat it and throw it away immediately. 

 Anyone who purchased one of the affected items may call Blackstone Products at 1-888-879-4610 to receive a replacement product, and if you are seeking more information about the recall, consumers can call the company between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
