A recall was issued for a broccoli sprout product recalled due to salmonella exposure.
EAK Distribution LLC based in Wyoming was notified that salmonella was detected in the broccoli seed sample that was collected and examined by the Food and Drug Administration.

FDA officialssaid no illnesses have been reported from use of the item and explained that the seeds were identified as being used by a sprout grower whose finished product was part of a federal health investigation tied to a multistate food borne illness outbreak.
